ツアー概要
船が宿であり、小舟が遠征そのもの
デルフィンIIIは3隻あるデルフィン船隊で最大の船です。22のスイートに定員44名。イキトスの造船所で地元の船大工が建造し、ルレ・エ・シャトーの一員として運航されています。パカヤ＝サミリア国立保護区の南端にあるナウタからマラニョン川へ入り、仕組みは単純です。船が宿で、野生動物の観察は船尾から1日2回出る小舟とカヤックから行います。
パカヤ＝サミリアは、マラニョン川とウカヤリ川に挟まれた季節的な冠水林を200万ヘクタール余り守っています。ペルー最大の保護区であり、アマゾン川流域で最大の保護された冠水林です。実際に行けば、あたりは一面の水で、生きものはその縁に集まります。ピンクイルカと小型のハイイロイルカが小舟のそばに浮かび、ホーアチンが岸辺の茂みで騒ぎ、夜明けの光をコンゴウインコが横切ります。

行程
日程
1日目 — イキトス、ナウタ、最初の夜
イキトス空港でお迎えし、舗装路を南へ95キロ、ナウタで乗船。夕食後、最初の夜間ボートへ。
2日目 — アマゾン自然公園とヤナヤク＝プカテ
午前は地元シャーマンの儀式。午後は小舟でヤナヤク＝プカテの水系へ入り、穏やかな支流ではカヤックも。
3日目 — フンド・カスアルとウニオン・デ・ロス・リオス
冠水しない高地（テラフィルメ）の森を歩きます。氾濫原とはまったく別の鳥相です。その後、川辺の集落を訪ね、マラニョン川とウカヤリ川の合流点へ。
4日目 — 下船
船上で最後の朝を過ごし、ナウタから熱帯魚の水族館と針を持たないハリナシバチに立ち寄って、イキトス空港へ。

- 増水期（おおむね11〜6月）は森が水に浸かり、小舟やカヤックで木々のあいだに入れます。減水期（6〜11月）は砂州が現れ、生きものが岸辺に集まり歩きやすくなります。どちらが間違いということはありません。
