“I had a wonderful day out with Alfredo along the coast south of Lima, first targeting some lesser known wetlands that gave some unexpected surprises, then heading to Pucusana for a boat trip out to see the boobies, cormorants, and penguins. He knows the exact areas to see specific birds which is major in leading these tours. We visited lakes, a river canyon, and an incredible hummingbird sanctuary. At the beautiful hummingbird garden, we spotted eight different hummingbird species including the amazing Sword-billed and the Great Sapphirewing. Our favorite was in the river canyon where we actually saw two Torrent Ducks as they swam their way upstream against incredible forces. It was truly spectacular. Frank was patient, helpful, full of great information, and just plain fun.”
