ツアー概要

4泊目が意味するもの

デルフィンIIIは3隻あるデルフィン船隊で最大の船です。22のスイートに定員44名、イキトスの造船所で建造され、ルレ・エ・シャトーの一員として運航されています。この行程ではナウタからウカヤリ川をさかのぼり、パカヤ＝サミリア国立保護区で訪問が許される最奥部、パカヤ川へ入ります。

パカヤ＝サミリアは200万ヘクタール余りの冠水林を守る、ペルー最大の保護区です。あたりは一面の水で、生きものはその縁に集まります。小舟のそばにピンクイルカとハイイロイルカ、岸辺の茂みにホーアチン、夜明けにコンゴウインコ、水路の上にはナマケモノやサキ。

4泊目こそがパカヤ川を可能にします。この行程では日帰り圏をはるかに越えたその川で丸一日を過ごします。水路が狭まり、水は黒く静まり返る一帯——ピンクイルカが最も安定して現れ、小舟からその近くで泳げる場所です。短い行程ではなくこちらを選ぶ理由は、ここにあります。

  1. 1日目 — イキトス、ナウタ、乗船

    イキトスでお迎えし、南へ95キロのナウタで乗船。オリエンテーション、夕食、保護区のドキュメンタリー上映。

  2. 2日目 — ヤナルパ川とドラド川

    夜明けに小舟でヤナルパ川へ。コンゴウインコ、ホーアチン、サル類を狙います。午後はドラド川でカヤック、夕食後に夜間ボート。

  3. 3日目 — パカヤ川で丸一日

    この旅の核心。日帰り圏の外にあるパカヤ川へ長時間さかのぼります。水路が狭まり森が迫る一帯で、ピンクイルカが最も確実。その近くで泳ぐ時間もあります。

  4. 4日目 — ヤラパ川とフンド・カスアル

    小舟でヤラパ川を探索し、川辺の集落と学校を訪ね、合流点へ。午後はフンド・カスアルのテラフィルメの小径。

  5. 5日目 — 下船

    船上で最後の朝を過ごし、ナウタから熱帯魚の水族館とハリナシバチに寄って、イキトス空港へ。
