The lower Manu Road around San Pedro and the famous Andean Cock-of-the-rock lek, in the Kosñipata valley — humid foothill forest where the road meets the Amazon slope. Male Cock-of-the-rock display at dawn, with toucans, barbets, trogons, mixed tanager flocks and the endemic Koepcke's Hermit.
