The highland lakes above Chinchero — Lago Piuray and the wetlands and Inca terraces around it. Andean Goose, Puna Teal, Slate-colored Coot and around twenty Chilean Flamingos work the water, with Bearded Mountaineer, White-tufted Sunbeam and Creamy-crested Spinetail in the surrounding scrub and puna.
