The forest trails and the Quebrada Mishquiyaquillo ridge above Waqanki, near Moyobamba — the wilder, forest-interior half of this famous San Martín foothill site. Antbirds, woodcreepers, manakins and mixed flocks work the trails, with the endemic Ash-throated Antwren, Painted Manakin, Mishana Tyrannulet and Speckle-chested Piculet among an enormous foothill list.
